Matt Eddy is a quadriplegic and the goal of his trip is to raise money and awareness of the need for housing for folks with severe disabilities.

In his talks, Ken shares his life story and the lessons that he has learned since he was injured during a college football game at Cornell University in 1970. Hilary Lister is to tackle the waters of the Middle East and
sail solo around the Kingdom of Bahrain. It will raise

The 37-year-old Oxford graduate from Faversham is paralysed
from the neck down. She started using a wheelchair at 15
because of a progressive neurological disorder called reflex

For those of you who are not aware of the history behind the conception of “The Fishing Doc” pole, Doc was paralyzed just under 5 years ago and had recently passed away. He loved to fish so the company that employed his wife Cindy invested a ton of money to develop and patent a fishing rod for the paralyzed. Doc’s love of the outdoors and determination to not allow his physical limitations keep him from doing what he loves, influenced a group at Orscheln to provide a product that allows those with limited physical abilities to enjoy fishing.
